Quote: "This talking thing is a lot better than I thought it would be."
Disney Name: Gideon
Human Name: Gallagher "Gideon" Brogan
Age: 42
Human Hair Color: Dusky brown
Human Eye Color: Dark green
Human Appearance: Gideon is now a man in his forties, and though he's aged well, his hair is noticeably graying-- a bit of a change from his mahogany brown fur he had as a cat. He often wears glasses to cope with his new nearsightedness. He's a shorter guy with a smile always plastered on his face, much like his Disney self. His preference in clothes is still a bit "olden style"-- meaning he prefers to wear waistcoats and dress shirts (even cheap ones) to casual clothes.

Celebrity Face Claim: Greg Proops
Personality: Gideon is a flouncy, always-cheerful sort of guy. He doesn't let life get him down often, in fact, life is nothing but a game to him. Excluding a bit of trauma from the total culture shock of the new world, Gideon took becoming human rather well. The biggest advantage for him is that he can actually talk now, instead of being a useless mute! Despite his slightly scruffy, shabby appearance, he's a really nice guy, and does well with kids. Since he loves his newfound skills of talking so much, he'll strike up a conversation with just about anybody, but this tends to get him mixed up with the wrong people...
Likes: Talking, eating, reading, meeting new people, kids, soft rock, money, women, beer
Dislikes: Greedy people (bad memories from his Disney days), crime, the modern world (he prefers old Europe), rebellious teenagers, listening
Occupation: Works at a pub & grill
History: It wasn't long after the Coachmen lived up to Honest John's offer that before they knew it, their world shattered before their eyes and Gideon found hismelf lying on the streets of a strange town full of metal and light, broke and homeless (though he was used to that), and, most confusing of all, human! But while adapting to this strange new world, Gideon realized that he could do something beyond his wildest dreams: talk! It was a miracle for him, because he was so sick of never being able to voice his complaints and thoughts while he was a mute cat. He evntually learned the rules and norms of this new, modern society, and began living by them. He eventually found a job (it was hard, with abosultely no experience nor a resume) and got himself a meager but functional apartment. He's began making several friends since becoming human, most of them Disney characters like himself.
Sample Post:
Everything was happening all at once.
Head throbbing, Gideon blinked his eyes open and found himself staring up into blue sky. Okay, maybe I just got a bit faint... though I don't think I had that much to drink...
He sat up slowly, grimacing from aching muscles, and saw a confusing sight before him. What were these huge metal and stone blocks thrusting so high into the sky?! And he found not cobblestone nor dirt before him, but a rough, rocky kind of carpet. He leapt up, panicking. Where was he?! He caught a glimpse of his hand out of the corner of his eye and saw it covered in pale pink flesh. Human?!
Not thinking clearly, he darted out right into the street, where an incoming car slammed against his hip and sent him slamming into the hot black asphault. And what were those shiny, roaring monsters? They were like coaches, except they had no horse, and they were so shiny, with lights... He quickly recovered from being hit and ran farther, running right into a pedestrian. How strangely they were dressed! The citizen stumbled, and Gideon flew headlong into a concrete wall. He cried out in shock and pain, and bent over, gripping his head.
"Hey, are you okay?" the pedestrian asked cautiously. "You look like you're in a hurry."
Forgetting that he couldn't speak, he shook his head and hissed through gritted teeth, "No, it's quite all right..."
It took him a few seconds to register the sound coming otu fo his throat that was not a meow or a grunt or a whimper. He gasped, clutching hsi throat. Did he...?
"I-I can..." he tried it out once more. He grinned slowly. "I...can talk!"
He laughed delightedly, grabbing the pedestrian in a headlock. "I can TALK!!! Oh, glory hallelujiah!! Praise the good lord in heaven! I can talk!!"
He ran off again, half-skipping in his blind glee. "I can talk! I can TALK!" he continued to laugh until he vanished from sight.
The pedestrian gathered their bearings and watched the crazy man skip off into the streets, screaming at the top of his lungs. "This place gets weirder every day..."
Other Notes: Maybe an Honest John could pop up an terrorize poor Gideon, but that's up to the players. I was thinking, also, that he could be kind of an assistant teacher for Vixey, because he loves kids so much... and then be horribly traumatized...? Idk, really.
