Yes! Disney's Alive has plagued my brain juuust enough to evoke some fanart; so voila!
No....I don't have a problem....why ever do you ask? XD
....I know they're not a couple but I HAD to draw them like this at least once....twas inevitable ^^"
I'm loving their sisterly mother/daughter relationship X3 It's so fun!
I adore RPing as both Theo/Thunder and Martin....
....and I may or may not be half in love with Jeff Bridges ^^"
"I...I don't understand! I thought....I just wanted him to....It's not fair, Walt!" Two-Tone cried, collapsing into the older man's chest. She clung to his jacket, make-up running down her face as the pain and stress and heartbreak poured out of her in heartwrenching sobs. "I-I just....I-I-I just wanted him to l-love me...."
The older man embraced the poor girl, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug. "I know, Tara." he whispered soothingly, still using the girl's human name "I know."
Two-Tone looked up at him, green eyes shining with tears. "T-Then w-w-why...."
"Because," Walt, answered softly, a small, sad smile tugging at his mouth "love is never fair, my dear. No matter your age or race or species, matters of the heart never fall the way we want them." He paused, an almost regretful expression lurking behind his dark blue eyes. "If you really love someone, sometimes you have to let them go." He knew, of course, that she didn't want to hear this--that she wanted assurance her brother would one day return her affections, and they'd live happily ever after--but Walt didn't have it in him to lie to her. After all she'd been through; transforming into a human, adapting a new personality, falling in love with her own brother and now starving herself....the last thing the girl needed was more lies. More false promises.
"L-Let him g-g-go?" Two-Tone echoed, not quite angry but definitly not pleased. "B-b-b-but...." she sniffed. "I-I-I c-ca--"
"You can, Tara. You can." The graying man interrupted, reaching up to wipe away the girl's tears. "and you must; for at the end of the day...." and here, he really did look regretful "it is their happiness that matters most...."
Tara said nothing for a few seconds, then relapsed into sobbing. Yet Walt's thoughts had wandered, drifting back to the days before--far before--Xandra had eliminated his creations from the world....back to the highlight of his career....back to that one particular movie....back to her. That warm yet eager woman with fair blond hair and deep blue eyes....eyes always hinting at a secret; like a child guilty of dipping into the cookie jar. Eyes he still missed, even to this day....
But this wasn't about him, was it? No....no....he'd made his choice; he'd let her go....and now....now he had to help another lost soul do the same.
Had to coach another love-struck youth through the rocky road of heartbreak.
"It's going to be okay, Tara," he whispered, holding her tighter "it's going to be okay."
(OOC: YES I know Walt "died" in the 60s (to those of you who know which "blond" I'm referring to) but dammit I wanted to write this anyway!)
